Out of all hotels we started on Newfoundland this was the only one with AC. The staff was nice. They have a food restaurant where we had early breakfast. The area is really nice. You can hire a boat to see Wales and icebergs. Also no far from here is the Vikings settlement museum.
The accommodations were wonderful but even better were the staff. They were always responsive to our needs, eagerly sharing local knowledge, and even helped us book a second room at another nearby hotel when they didn't have enough available rooms to meet our needs. The hotel appears to have about 30 rooms and is attached to a Jungle Jims restaurant. Also nearby (easy walking distance) are a grocery store, Tim Hortons, and Subway.
